Peep rotation refers to the extreme rotation of the peep sight during the draw cycle. If a peep sight is slightly askew when the bow is at rest but does not rotate during drawing, this does not constitute peep rotation. It is important to ensure that your D-Loop and peep sight align on the same angle or plane.
Creep describes the ongoing elongation of the string fibers that fail to return to their original length. While all strings will stretch slightly when energy is transferred from the bow’s limbs during the shot cycle, persistent elongation indicates creep. A noticeable decrease in the bow's poundage is often a sign of creep.
Serving separation occurs when there is a visible gap in the served areas of the string system. It's important to note that wear spots or flattening of the serving in areas under high stress, such as cam tracks and module tracks, do not qualify as serving separation. Certain bow brands have extremely tight corners and are prone to serving separation over time. If you think this may be your case contact us for more information.
